No stranger to the process of transformation, Fiona finds inspiration in nature, curiosity, creativity and the process of transformation.

Inspired by the writings of Carlos Castenada, Fiona began her post tertiary "spiritual education" in the Americas, immersing herself in teachings on consciousness, sustainability, natural forms of healing and meditation. During her time living in Central America, Fiona was introduced to the rich traditions and sacred ceremonies of the Mayan, Huichole, Peruvian and later, Native American peoples which have been woven through her life since. Following a path of symbols and synchronicity, she arrived at Las Piramides del Ka Meditation Centre in Guatemala, where over the span of five years he delved into teachings of the Mystical Kabala, Hermetic wisdom, meditation, yoga, lucid dreaming, western astrology, tarot and modalities of energetic healing.

In experiencing profound transformative effects of a disciplined yoga practice, she became interested in Yoga and Ayurveda, formalising her studies of Hatha Yoga and Yogic Healing at Pyramid Yoga Center in Thailand after which she returned to Australia and offered daily yoga classes alongside facilitating women's workshops and immersions. Whilst at Pyramid Yoga her friendship with the founder and principle teacher, David Goulet, ignited an ongoing interest in the use of mantra and sound as a modality for healing and consciousness expansion. Fiona continued her yogic studies with Dr Michael de Manincor at The Yoga Institute in Sydney.

In 2017 Fiona met and began regularly attending retreats with DarPan, whose influence radically shifted her life by catalysing a deeper opening into sound/frequency and music, the exploration of consciousness and healing arts. For the last seven years she has walked alongside DarPan offering workshops, spiritual retreats and concerts in Australia and internationally.

Fiona also curates and hosts women's gatherings in the Byron Shire as well as supporting other's retreats as a facilitator, musician and sound healer.

The notion of Sangha or "allyship", as well as cultivating authentic friendships and networks that support one's own spiritual evolution, family and community, are a central thread in the vision/offering of Awaken the Sacred. In that light Fiona respectfully acknowledges and thanks the Sacred Plant kingdom and her many teachers along the way, and for the contributions of Carl Jung and Dr Stanislav Grof, as well as Jungian Analysts and authors, Clarissa Pinkola Estes & Jean Shinoda Bolen, whose devotion to re-membering & re-awakening the wild feminine continues to resource and empower women around the world.

Alongside personal studies in consciousness and Western Astrology, she is a studio vocalist and is currently recording her debut album with dear friend and fellow Sound Healer Avishai Barnatan.
